STANISLAW PIOTR MARUSARZ

Born in Zakopane (Poland) in 1946, son of Stanislaw MARUSARZ (1913 - 1993)

Single engine aircraft pilot with a preference for mountain and glacier flights.

Member of the National Polish ski team (1963 -1969)      

1968: selected for the Student World Championships and the Olympic Games.

 

Wrote a thesis "deflection line of the ski on the elastic surface". Research engineer for new technologies in Polsport ski factory.
Got an award for a new model of a cross country ski for competition at the Munich International Fair in 1975.

FRANCE: Alpe d'Huez: former coach in alpine skiing to: Isabelle BLANC, Ophélie DAVID, Gaétan LLORACH, Laure PEQUEGNOT.
National French ski instructor.

 

 

Author of articles for the Polish ski magazine "Narty" and weekly magazine "Tygodnik Podhalanski".
Co-author of articles for the Polish equestrian magazine "Konie i Rumaki" .
Co-operated with the Polish TV: several reports about Alpe d'Huez, another on the Five Lakes valley in the Tatra Mountains, Poland.

Member of the Voluntary Tatra Mountains Rescue Service (TOPR).
